CLT Solutions is now able to offer you the next level in remote support through a new secure remote support platform. What this now means is that we can log onto your PC from our office, via a secure encrypted connection, at your request only. The main differences between this application and other remote desktop applications include:
- The connection must be initiated by yourself from your PC by running the application.
- There's no need to make any changes to your firewall so that CLT Solutions can access your PC, since the original connection comes from you, the firewall will allow your connection out and return the in-bound traffic to your PC.
- Once you initiate the connection you will be given a unique ID and password which is given to CLT Solutions. Once this has been done we will be able to access your PC remotely.
- CLT Solutions are NOT able to access your PC unless we have been given the ID and password, which is generated when you launch the support request application.
- Once CLT Solutions has connected to your PC, we will be able to log the start & end time. This will make the support billing a lot more accurate. Remote support is billed at R 350.00 per hour or part there of. At the end of the month CLT Solutions will be able to give you a detailed report on which of your users requested remote assistance and how long it took to resolve each problem.
